Trevlyn H. Kelley, 91, beloved son, brother, husband, father, father-in-law, granddad, and Gan Gan, was called to his eternal resting place on February 12, 2026. He entered this world on September 3, 1934, in Colorado City, TX, born to Marcus and Agnes Kelley. He is survived by his spouse Wanda Kelley; daughters Treva Broderick, Laurie Bailey, and Karra Kelley; sons-in-law Geoffrey Broderick and J. C. Bailey, III; grandsons Taylor Broderick (Jessica) and Cameron Broderick (Rachel); granddaughters Jordan Flippin (Sam) and Caitlin Schuetze (Travis); great-granddaughters Ella Flippin, Mackenzie Schuetze, and Leighton Schuetze; great-grandsons Jaryn Broderick, Lincoln Flippin, Caleb Broderick, Crawford Schuetze, Levi Flippin, and Callan Broderick.

Preceding Trevlyn in death were his parents, his three older sisters, Ila Ruth Sullivan, Billie Dehlinger, and Sarah Alexander White, grandson Tyler Broderick, and great-grandson Will Schuetze.

Trevlyn’s hobbies and interests included woodworking, fishing, attending sports (especially football) events, and community service. He traveled across the state of Texas to watch high school football playoffs. He also attended many college football games to cheer on the Texas Longhorns and other college teams to support friends and family. Trevlyn loved vacationing in Ruidoso, New Mexico with his family and friends, and called it home for a short period of time. He enjoyed family gatherings and was intentional in building strong relationships with nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and friends. His number one priority in life was to serve the Lord. He did that through teaching Bible classes and serving as a deacon and an elder in the church for many years.

Trevlyn graduated from The School of Banking of the South at Louisiana State University. He began his banking career in Colorado City, Texas as a bank teller and was promoted to Assistant Vice President at City National Bank in Colorado City. In 1972, he moved the family to Roscoe, Texas and served as President of the Roscoe State Bank for 4 years. After achieving his banking goals, he then transitioned to his second career as a building contractor. The family moved to Ruidoso, New Mexico in 1976 and Trevlyn began building condos and single-family homes during a housing boom. This career continued until August 1984 when Trevlyn purchased Wayne’s Pharmacy in Roscoe, TX and relocated the business to Sweetwater, TX. The pharmacy was renamed The Medicine Place. Simultaneously, Trevlyn opened a second Medicine Place pharmacy in Colorado City, TX. After mentoring two young pharmacists in how to run a successful business, he sold the pharmacies in May 2002 and officially retired.

Trevlyn was married to the love of his life for almost 70 years. Together, Trevlyn and Wanda built a strong partnership that was admired by both family and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at Oldham Lane Church of Christ, 5049 Oldham Lane, Abilene, TX at 1:00 pm.
