Mary Elizabeth McCurdy

Mary Elizabeth McCurdy, 58, passed away surrounded by the love of her family. She was born on August 9, 1967, in Jeannette, PA to Patricia and Floyd McCurdy. In 1982, Mary’s family relocated to Abilene, Texas, where she would go on to build a life centered around family.

She met Randy with whom she shared 23 years and three beloved sons: Ricky, Andy, and Henry. Later in life she met the love of her life Charles Weaver who stood by her side through life’s journey and until her final breath.

Mary was the heart and foundation of her family, a true matriarch. She had a remarkable ability to make each person in her life feel seen, valued, and deeply loved. To her family she always let everyone know she loved them. Giving them the love and care that she had to offer.

Mary leaves behind a large family. Her love and devoted partner Charles Weaver. Her sons, Ricky Rolin and his wife Carol, Andy Rolin and his wife Angela and Henry Rolin. She was a proud grandmother to 14 grandchildren and many adored great grandchildren with one on the way. She was a mother to many and leaves behind many of her adopted kids and adopted grandchildren that have been part of her life. Mary is also survived by her siblings: her sisters Donna, Lucy, and Brenda, and her brother Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Patricia and Floyd McCurdy; her grandson, Dalton Rolin; her granddaughter, Elizabeth Rolin; and her Aunt Bonnie, along with other beloved aunts and uncles
