Maria Gonzales

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Maria Gonzales, a beloved mother, daughter, and friend, who left us on October 25, 2025, at the age of 59. Born on October 21, 1966, in Abilene, Texas, Maria was a proud graduate of Abilene High School, where she laid the foundations of her life's journey.

Maria will be remembered for her unwavering love for her three children. She poured her heart into nurturing her family and embraced the joys and challenges of motherhood with grace and resilience.

Maria's life was one of simplicity and beauty, marked by the laughter shared with her children and the friendships she built throughout the years. She was a pillar of love and support, and her memory will forever be cherished by those fortunate enough to know her.

Surviving Maria are her children, Robert Guevara,Carolyn Guevara (wife), Benjamin Guevara , Elizabeth Guevara (wife) Elayna Guevara-Adams, Jarrod Adams (husband) followed by 4 granddaughters and 4 grandsons and 2 great grandchildren . Preceding her in death were her parents, Mr. And Mrs. Valdez,her husband, Edward Gonzales III.

A public viewing will be held at Piersall Funeral Directors on October 29, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, allowing family and friends to come together in remembrance of her life. The funeral service will take place the following day, October 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM, also at Piersall Funeral Directors.
