Manuel Joe Perez peacefully left this Earth to be with his Heavenly Father on September 19, 2025 surrounded by his children and mother.
A lifelong resident of Abilene, Texas, Manuel was a devoted son, father and grandfather whose greatest joy in life was his family. He is preceded in death by his father, Joe Manuel Perez and his brother, Joe Robert Perez. He is survived by his beloved children: Joemanuel, Emily and Erika Perez, and his cherished grandson, Josiah Guerra, who was the light of his life.
Manuel is also survived by his Mother Eva Perez, brothers: Umer Perez and Richard Perez; his sisters, Carolyn Almendarez and Hope Ozuna; and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly.
From a young age, Manuel worked alongside his father in the family towing and body shop, where he developed a strong work ethic and a love for cars. Later, he built his own business, South Central, which became a reflection of his dedication, independence, and determination. He also had a deep passion for music, which was a constant source of joy throughout his life.
Above all, Manuel’s children were his everything. His love for them was unwavering, and he found his greatest pride and purpose in being their father.
He will be remembered for his hard work, his talents, his love for music, and most of all, for the immeasurable love he had for his family. Manuel will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
