Kyler Earnest

Kyler Wayne Earnest, 33 of Abilene, Texas, was sent to his eternal home on Saturday, July 19, 2025. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 3:00 PM in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Kyler was born to Gary and Sharon Earnest in Abilene, Texas on April 22, 1992. He was a beloved son, brother, father, and husband. Kyler was an all-star athlete, academic scholar, attended Holland Medical and graduated Cooper High School. After graduation he served and defended our country in the United States Army. He later began his landscaping career with ACU, AISD, and found his forever home with MasterScapes. Kyler had a joy for the outdoors, and will be remembered for making Abilene a prettier place with his love and expertise in landscaping.

Kyler will forever be remembered for his big heart, faith, and love for his family. Anybody that knew him would say that he was a great father and loved his kiddos. His kids were his pride, joy, and his legacy. He touched so many lives and we are privileged to have known him. His passing has left a void in the hearts of family, friends, and co-workers.

The world has been touched and blessed by Kyler's selfless devotion of giving to others. He shared his faith on four international mission trips with his mom and brother. His final mission before he went to be with Jesus, with honor, was giving the gift of life to others as an organ donor.

Kyler is survived by his wife, Shelby, son Mason, daughters Elaine and Milli of Abilene; mother Sharon Earnest of Abilene; father Gary Earnest and wife Diana of Abilene; brother Slade and wife Catherine of College Station; and nieces and nephews.
