Joanna Craig Fortson

Joanna Craig Fortson, 54, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on February 20, 2026. She will be laid to rest privately with her family, though all family and friends are invited to a celebration of Joanna’s life in a few weeks. Time and date are to be announced.

Joanna is preceded in death by her father, Byron Craig. She is survived by her husband, Matt, and three beloved daughters; her mother, Wanda Craig; siblings Jeff Craig and Susan Bowden; and many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Joanna would have loved for you to spend time doing something special with loved ones or anything that brings you joy.
