Doris Jean Pierson, 91, of Abilene, passed away on Thursday, September 10, 2026. Funeral service will be on Wednesday, September 16, 2026, at 11:30 a.m. in the chapel of the Hillcrest Church of Christ, 650 E. Ambler Ave., with a visitation at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery of Abilene, under the direction of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.
