Delfino Coronel Dominguez

Delfino Dominguez, 78, of Abilene, passed away at his home on Sunday, August 24, 2025. A rosary service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 6:30 p.m. in the chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street. Mass will be at the St. Francis Assisi Catholic Church, 826 Cottonwood Street, on Friday August 29th, 2025 at 10:00 am with burial to follow at the Abilene City Cemetery. A Rosary will be held on Wednesday evening August 27th at 6:30 pm at Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut St.

Delfino was born on December 22, 1946 in Raymondsville, Texas to Ricardo Dominguez and Elisa Coronel. He came to Abilene in 1966 and married Elvira Sierra on August 12, 1968. Delfino worked for D&H Rig Service in their custodial and maintainance department.

Delfino was preceded in death by his parents, Ricardo Dominguez and Elisa Coronel, wife Elvira Dominguez and son Dale Dominguez. He is survived by his son Raul Dominguez; daughter Irma Secundino and husband Pedro; sisters Manuella Calvo and Monica Sevallos; brother Siprano Sevallos; grandchildren Izabella Seabourn; Pedro, Ruby, Simon, Angel and Oscar Secundino; Matthew and Joshua Dominguez; and Elisa and Xavier Dominguez; plus 6 great grandchildren.
