Carlotta Castillo

Carlotta Ybarra Castillo, 64, of Abilene, passed away on Tuesday, November 20, 2018.  Funeral services will be on Monday, November 26, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.

Carlotta was born on November 29, 1953 in Merkel, Texas to Librado (Lee) and Apolonia Ybarra.  Carlotta was a life long resident of the Merkel and Abilene area and spent her time working as a sales clerk for department stores in the area, such as Montgomery Wards, Sears and Walls.  On July 19 ^th , 2000, she married Rudy Castillo and the couple shared 18 wonderful year together.

Carlotta was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Apolonia Ybarra; sisters Christina Lerma and Mary Ybarra; and her brother, Salvador Ybarra.  She is survived by her husband Rudy Castillo of Abilene; daughters Bridget Acuna Rodriguez of Abilene, Elizabeth Acuna of Abilene and Nicole Stennett and husband Kent of Clyde; and her grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary and Miranda Rodriguez and Kiri and Jaida Williams; and her great-granddaughter Liza Jade Rodriguez.
