William Elbert Parson, 58 of Tye, died October 31, 2014 at Hendrick Medical Center. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 8 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church on 306 N. Main Street in Rising Star. Local arrangements were handled by Piersall Funeral Directors, 733 Butternut Street.
