Mary Lucinda “Cindy” Davis-Watkins, 56, of Abilene, passed away on June 1, 2014 at a local hospital. Services will be Friday, June 6 at 3:30 pm at the Piersall Funeral Directors Chapel, 733 Butternut Street. A visitation with the family will be Thursday, June 5 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Piersall Funeral Directors.

Cindy was born on April 8, 1958 in Grosse Pointe, Michigan to Glen and Carol Sue Starnes. Cindy attended Coronado Nursing School where she received her certification to be a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked for numerous hospitals and spent the last 2 years working at the Oaks at Radford Hills, caring for their residents. Cindy was a devoted wife, sister, mother, and grandmother.

Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Carol Sue Starnes. She is survived by her husband, Roger Watkins of Abilene; son Kevin Starnes and his wife Kayla of Hurst, Texas; daughter Kristen Milsap of Abilene; sisters Kim Hemsley and husband Greg of Charlotte, North Carolina and Pam Baucknecht of Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren Kirby and Kennedy Starnes and Bailey and Kassey Milsap.
